These terms apply to the Gridabyte websites, including www.gridabyte.net and www.gridabyte.org, and the free tools on them. By using the sites, you agree to these terms. A paid OpTMS subscription is governed by its own agreement.

Free tools

Our calculators and other free tools are provided for informational and educational purposes only. Their results are estimates, not quotes, offers, or guarantees, and they are not financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice. You are responsible for your own pricing and business decisions and for checking any result against your own numbers.

Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the sites. That includes interfering with how they work, trying to access systems or data you are not authorized to use, sending automated requests at a volume that burdens the tools or the third-party services behind them, or copying the tools to offer as your own service.

Our content

The Gridabyte and OpTMS names, logos, the Gridabyte cube, and the text, design, and software on these sites belong to Gridabyte Corp. You may share links to our pages, but you may not reuse our content or marks in a way that suggests a relationship or endorsement without our written permission.

Third-party services

The sites rely on services we do not control, including Google, OpenStreetMap-based map services, and the U.S. Energy Information Administration. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or terms.

No warranties

The sites and tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gridabyte Corp is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the sites or tools.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the sites after an update means you accept the new terms.
